Two Cities, One Dream of Home
Two different places, two different lives, yet one silent wish—that someday, everything will come together in one light.
Days are busy, work keeps us running,
but somewhere inside, a small voice whispers—
“I should’ve done more. I should’ve been more.
Why does it still feel incomplete?”
There are moments when everything looks fine,
yet the heart feels a little hollow,
like something important is always
just one step out of reach.
Evenings stretch longer than they should,
and a quiet room becomes a mirror
showing thoughts we try to hide.
But deep down another voice rises—
“You’re not weak, just tired.
You’re not lost, just building yourself slowly.”
Sometimes it feels like life is running faster
than the strength we have,
but every small effort, every long night,
every silent hope
is shaping something bigger than we see right now.
One day these distances—inside and outside—
will shrink.
One day, our scattered pieces
will fall into their right places.
And all these empty moments,
all these quiet battles,
will become stories of how far we came—
not how far we were.
Because even on days we feel broken,
the courage to keep going
is proof that we’re already stronger
than yesterday.
